Over a dozen Israelis were killed and scores were wounded in the recent terrorist actions in the Tabah area of Egyptian Sinai. One particular Jew who spent the holiday in the Tabah Hilton which was the hardest hit escaped death thanks to his fathers dying wish.

At the funeral of his father this fellow recounted that he left the doomed hotel upon receiving an urgent message that his dying father wanted to take leave of all his children before passing from this world. He immediately complied with this wish and left the hotel a short time before the explosion.

"Even in death," he tearfully declared, "my father who gave me life saved my life."
