Farmer Food for the Needy

This Pesach saw a record amount of money and food distributed to needy families in Israel by charitable organizations. Even the Israeli government took part in this outpouring of help. The Agriculture Ministry this Pesach distributed surplus food products valued in the millions of shekels.

This farmer food for the needy included five million eggs, 550 tons of potatoes, 370 tons of oranges, 350 tons of carrots and 237 tons of onions.
